Is that the postman??

Yes it is! I have had part of my package arrive from Stampin' Up! and finally have some more stock! So watch this space for some new creations in something other than blue or green (!), how exciting!

Idea book inspiration

Another creation using my limited supplies, but using a different stamp set this time. I got the basic idea from the 08/09 Idea Book & Catalogue book (pg 28) and had a bit of fun with it. I think the 'Thank you very much' text looks a little lost so next time I'll try adding another element underneath to build it up.

Design notes: I have trimmed all but 2.5cm off the front of a pre-folded card. I have then attached my alternative coloured cardstock and trimmed to size. The small circles on the top are made with a 1/4" circle punch and are then covered in Crystal Effects to give them a glossy appearance. The holes are created using the paper-piercing template from the Mat Pack.

Ink - Buckaroo Blue; Old Olive
Cardstock - Brocade Blue; Whisper White
Stamp sets - Office Accoutrement; Much Appreciated
Punches - 1/4" circle; Corner Rounder
Sundry - Mat Pack, Crystal Effects

Getting jiggy with it!

Same stamp sets, different card. It is surprising how it gets easier once you have a base to work from. Again I had the challenge of limited supplies but it just goes to show that you don't HAVE to spend a fortune to produce great cards.
As before, I have run my jumbo wheel over the Buckaroo Blue inkpad but I got really 'jiggy with it' (!) when using Old Olive as I only have it as a jumbo ink cartridge! Would have been a lot easier with a stamp pad but at least I got the job done!

Design notes: I have used a Blender Pen to colour the big flower as well as the floral design on the card. I have stamped with Versamark over the 1st and 2nd card squares to add extra dimension.

Stamps - Scribble This; Much Appreciated
Ink - Buckaroo Blue, Old Olive; Versamark
Embellisments - Crystal Effects

Thank You card

Yay, my first design for this site. As I have not received my kit yet from Stampin' Up! my mission with this card was to make it with limited stock, in particular no ribbon. I surprised myself with how difficult I found it to be, but think it looks OK anyway. Let me know what you think ...

Design notes: I didn't have a Buckaroo Blue ink cartridge for my jumbo wheel so ran the stamp over the ink pad instead

Stamps: Scribble This; Much Appreciated
Ink: Buckaroo Blue
Embellishments: Hodgepodge Hardware (pewter)
